In the Middle East, Iraq is seriously affected by water shortage.
Climate change, drought, dams, conflicts and pollution are threatening the most valuable ressource.

To address this humanitarian emergency, the EU and Unesco have launched the ASHRI mission in 2013 together with the iraqi government to find strategic new water ressources underground and improve the water management of the region.
